This notice explains what happens to personal data when you use this website, wislasearch.ai. WislaSearch is a product of WislaCode, and this notice covers this website only. Our main company website has its own, separate privacy statement.

What we collect, and why
This website has one form, the pilot request. The rest of the page is text and images and collects nothing.

No cookies
This website sets no cookies and reads none. It writes nothing to your browser’s local or session storage, and it carries no advertising or marketing tags. There is no cookie banner here because there is nothing stored on your device to ask you about.
How we count readers
We do want to know whether anybody reads this site, so each page you open is recorded: which page it was, which website you came from, the country your connection is in, and whether you are on a phone or a computer. The record is kept on our own servers. It is not shared with an analytics company, and there is no Google Analytics or similar product here.
To tell one reader from two visits by the same reader, we need something to count. Instead of a cookie we calculate a short code from your IP address, your browser’s description of itself and today’s date. The calculation only runs one way, so the code cannot be turned back into your address, and your address itself is never stored.
Because the date goes into that calculation, the code changes at midnight. Nobody – ourselves included – can follow you from one day to the next, which is the point: it lets us count how many people read the site without building any record of an individual. The records are deleted after fourteen months.
We do this because we have a legitimate interest in knowing whether our own site is read.
If you would rather not be counted, switch on Global Privacy Control in your browser. Several browsers and privacy extensions offer it, sometimes labelled “Do Not Track”. This site checks for that signal on every page and records nothing when it is present, so the setting works immediately and needs nothing saved on your device or ours.
Who else sees your data
We use a small number of providers to run this site. They process personal data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own:
- Vercel Inc. - hosting and content delivery, and the server logs described above.
- Cloudflare, Inc. - the anti-spam check on the pilot form (Turnstile). It runs only once you open the form, never on the page itself, and it receives your IP address and signals about your browser in order to tell a person from a script.
- Plus Five Five, Inc. (Resend) - sends us the email carrying your request.
Some of these providers process personal data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the USA. Those transfers are protected by an appropriate safeguard, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
We also use Telegram to alert our team that an enquiry has arrived. That alert is deliberately free of personal data: it says only that a new request has come in and whether the email reached us. Your name, your email address and your message are not sent to Telegram. They reach our team by email, from the provider named above.
Beyond this, we do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We may disclose it where the law or a competent authority requires us to.
Children
This website is aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone below the age of full legal capacity in their country.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to have our processing restricted, to receive it in a portable form, and to object to processing that we base on our legitimate interest, including on grounds relating to your particular situation.
To exercise any of these rights, or if you have a question about this notice, write to dpo@wislacode.com. We may need to verify your identity first. We will normally reply within 30 days, and will tell you if we need longer.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. In Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).
Changes to this notice
If what we do with personal data on this website changes, we will update this notice and change the date at the top of it.
